Copper Son  

                       The story is about a fifteen year old girl named   Amari .   

      The  story is mostly about the African slave trade and slavery in America.

                 Her grandfather is a slave, and he had been a slave since 1860.

                      Hugh Mils wasn’t free until the end  of the civil war.

                 Then  one day some strangers came in the village to capture villagers.

    Amari’s life was destroyed after the strangers came in her  village, it’s like she

                                                                        Lost her village

                     I enjoyed  this book because I like  learning about someone’s life.

                        The other part of why I like it is because I like the author Sharon M. Draper.
